Makeup For School Or Work

It's back to school again! I know we all have to concentrate on our studies, school works, and stressful assignments, but I believe we should not neglect our wellness and beauty. Your look is important coz it is how you present yourself to people.
Here are tips and steps on how to do your makeup for school/work.
I. Clean your face with face cleanser
Tip: Opt for an oil control face cleansers / exfoliating scrubs
They both make your skin feel silky smooth with making your skin greasy or dry.

II. Preparing your face with makeup
     A. Toner
Tip: Toner is optional if you have dry skin
     B. Moisturizer
Tip: Don't put too much if you have oily skin
     C. Primer - this will make the foundation stay.

III. Applying Makeup
    A. Foundation
Tip: Make sure that your foundation matches your skin tone
Since this is makeup for school the coverage should be sheer, you don't want to put too much
    B. Concealer
Tip:  Remember to go over dark circles under your eyes and any blemishes or unattractive marks
Blend it thoroughly before you continue
    C. Powder
Tip: It should be a little lighter than your foundation
Anything you put on your face that is liquid or cream, it is a MUST to apply powder over it.
    D. Contouring (OPTIONAL)
Not everyone knows how to contour or what it can do to your face. It is usually applied on the areas of the face that we don't want to be noticed.
Tip: You can use a cream or liquid contouring makeup product, however powder or mineral powders give a smooth, satin finish and are easiler to blend
Contouring powder/cream should be 2 shades dark than your foundation
To contour Nose: To slim your nose you would apply the contouring product on each side of your nose, blending carefully, and the highlighter down the center of your nose.
To contour Forehead: If you have a wide forehead, apply a contouring product to each temple and blend. This will create a shadow effect causing the head to look more rounded.

Contouring and Highlighting Guide:
     E. Blush
Tip: Opt for peachy or baby pink blush color
                  Don't put too much!
     F. Eyebrows
Fill in your brows with eyebrow pencil or brown eyeshadow with small angled brush

     G. Mascara
Tip: For school, it is recommended that you go for a more natural look, so a light application of mascara is all that is needed
